Associate certification is designed to meet and exceed the intent of SSTCD-STQ-1A - Associate Level.

The course is 8 hours and is designed for personnel who are involved in the maintenance, operation or management of steam systems.  Course content will allow the student to identify and understand the key components (boilers, valves, heat exchangers, steam traps, piping) in the steam system.  The student will also learn to apply the basic theories and fundamentals of steam. 

A practical exam is given at the end of the class.
